Position/Profile Responsibilities:

The Project Manager provides oversight and is responsible for all phases of various software implementation and consulting projects, including coordinating team members, material, and equipment. The Project Manager will ensure that all specifications are being followed and that work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. By being the single point of contact to our customers a proactive, positive, problem solving approach is crucial. Travel required. This position reports to the Director of Services.

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Oversee and maintain communication between all parties concerned with the project to facilitate any changes or modifications and to facilitate resolution of project problems.
  • Creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the triple constraint for projects, which is cost, time, and scope.
  • Management of all aspects of service delivery, including implementation, contract modification, resource management and billing/collections.
  • Work with appropriate resource managers, project leads or account managers to estimate time frames, quantity and skill set of resources required to successfully implement projects. Develop or assist in the development of project plan incorporating all variables.
  • Assist Account and Sales Representatives with the development of relevant project proposals and budgets and recommend approval of them before submission to clients.
  • Must be able to perform analysis, requirements definition, solution specification, project planning and technical support on projects.
  • Provide AgilQuest management with status reports on all implementations and customers. This includes progress to schedule, issues and revenue opportunities.
  • Analyze and resolve issues that have the potential to jeopardize performance and/or ability to meet agreed upon deliverables; analyze financial and operational reports.
  • Ensure completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines, track milestones and timelines across multiple projects, making alterations when necessary to meet expectations of clients.

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or professional certification desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years in a business analyst/project management role in a complex business and systems environment
  • Typically requires 5 - 10 years of software development, technical support, or consulting.
  • PMI's PMP certification is highly desired.
  • Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and various Databases (SQL Server)
  • Must demonstrate clear and professional, verbal and written communication.
  • Must have excellent presentation, organization, and planning skills.
  • Must have the interpersonal skills necessary to work as a team leader and as a liaison with customers.

Location:

Corporate Offices are in Richmond, VA. Telework is permitted upon approval by Management.
